Already looking forward to Christmas, our final day of hockey before we break will be December 15th. We will begin play again on January 12th.

After one week off, the two Blades teams got things going. It was a back and forth game staying tight the whole time. But it was White Blades squeaking by with a 3-2 victory. Brandon W and Joey L each set each other up and Patrick O scored the game winner.

The Sabres game was also close. Brady M backstopped his team to a 3-0 shutout win for the Black Sabres. Jordan K scored 2 and Clay K netted one as well.

The Daggers game had lots of action but it was Blue Daggers coming out on top with a 7-4 victory. Hudson L had a hat trick and Austin A, Nick V, Brock C and Wade B each added one. Eddy Z and Ryder M each scored a pair of goals but it just wasn't enough.

We hope everyone is enjoying the season so far. It's amazing to see how much improvement there is week to week.

As mentioned to most today, there is no hockey next Saturday, November 3 as the arena is being used for another tournament. We will continue November 10th at regular times.
There will likely be a few trades going on this day just to try to even out the Sabres and Daggers group. We may be approaching your son/daughter on that day.

Lastly, we wanted to invite everyone to a Creation Conference coming to Peoples Church. Mr. Frank Sherwin from Institute for Creation Research will be at Peoples Church for a three-day conference, November 9-11, 2012. He will be speaking on the Book of Genesis and Creation. Topics that will be addressed include: War of Worldviews, Why Genesis Matters, Scientific Evidence for Creation, and The Genesis Flood. There is no charge to attend and no registration is required. Childcare is provided for children up to age 5.

Just when the White Blades thought they had Purple all figured out, Purple drove their way to a 5-1 win. Steven V kept White Blades in it through the 1st period but David V's 4 goals and another highlight reel goal by Jesse V sealed the win for Purple Blades. Jonah V had the lone goal for White Blades.

In search for their first win of the season, White Sabres came to play. Unfortunately Black Sabres had different plans again going on to a 4-1 win led by Jordan K's hat trick and Mike V's 1st goal of his career. Joe B replied for the White Sabres

With a full bench for both teams, it proved to be a hard fought game. Ryder M held the White Daggers in the game for as long as he could but in the end Blue Daggers won the game 4-2. Colby F, Nick V, Hudson L and Kyle C each scored for the Blue Daggers. Owen T and Eddy Z scored for the White Daggers.

White Blades stormed out of the gate and won the game 7-1 sending them to their first win of the season. Purple Blades saw a goal from Joshua K but White Blades were led by Zach J's hat trick and a pair of goals from Patrick O. Joey L scored and Jilanda also netted her first of the year.

Going back and forth all game keeping it close it was Black Sabres who came out on top. Clay K was the hero today with a pair of goals back by a goal each from Devyn Z and Jordan K. Nick B and Chris J responded for the White Sabres but they fell short.

Daggers game saw another blow out. Blue Daggers had most of their veterans back in the lineup today and it proved to be the difference. Hudson L scored a hat trick in his first game of the year. Mason M and Kyle C each scored a pair and Austin A and Brock C both found the back of the net. Ryder M scored the lone goal for White Daggers breaking the shutout.
