-This Saturday is our second last week of hockey. If you won't be able to make our final game on March 12th, please hand in your jersey to your coach. Smelly and unwashed is fine.
-Anyone who did not have individual pictures done last week will be done this week. Those from the Sabres group will be done at the beginning of the Daggers ice time. Blades will be done at the beginning of their ice time.
-The Blades ice time has been switched around a little this week. They will begin their game AFTER the Daggers starting at 9:30 running through to 11:00.
-Reminder again, the end of the year party will be April 2. More details will come but there will be prizes, entertainment and lots of food!

It is game #2 of the playoffs this week. Come and cheer on your team!

It's playoff time! With three games left on the schedule, each division is in a heated best out of 3 series. The pressure is on!

The Blades teams started things off with a 4-4 tie. This game will be continued next week, when the White Blades get a chance to end things with a penalty shot. It looked like the White Blades were going to take this one but Purple Blades stormed back in the third period. Simeon W led the Purple Blades with three goals and Greg V also added one. Samuel G scored a pair along with one each from Sam L and David V for the White Blades. Look for an exciting game #2 next week!
The tension could be felt in the Sabres game. The White Sabres did take the 1st game 5-2 but was a much tighter game then the score lets on. Both teams played well but it was the strong goaltending from Ben K that helped bring the White Sabres to victory. Noah W scored the hat trick along with a goal from Joshua K and Nicolas R. Brandon W and Tim V each scored for the Black Sabres. White Sabres lead the best out of three series 1-0.
Both teams came out flying this week for the first game of a best of 3 playoff series. It was a great back and forth game with some strong defensive efforts by Hudson L and Kyle C for their respective teams. Jacob K opened the scoring after some nice puck handling to put the Whites up by one. The Blues had some strong offense by Keira W and Carter W but couldn't beat Colten M who played net for Whites and ended up earning the shutout. Breydon W put in another solid performance between the pipes for the Blues but Ryder M slid one past the line in the 2nd to put the Whites up 2-0 which turned out to be the final score.

The Blades division kept the goals down this week and played a tight game. Let by 2 goals from David V and another added by Samuel G that was enough to give the White Blades their third straight victory giving them a 2 point lead in the standings. Chuckie J and Ryan V added one each for the Purple Blades.
It was a 7-2 blowout for the Black Sabres this week led by the strong play from Sarah O who found a way to put 2 past the White Sabres. Corey B added a helper on one of the two goals Brandon W scored. Tim V added 2 and Jonah V netted one of his own. Michael G and Jordan H were each able to put one in for the White Sabres.
In one of the best games of the year for both Dagger teams it came down to the wire with the game decided in the last 5 seconds! It was scoreless through the first with the Blues opening up the game in the second with a goal from Eddy Z. The Whites responded soon after with a goal from Clay K. It was tied at 1 heading into the 3rd when Ryder M found the back of the net from the slot. With time running out Breydon W rocketed down the ice on a breakaway and deaked the goalie to tie the game up. It looked like the game would end in a tie but with 5 seconds left Clay K walked out from boards deep in the Blues end and fired the game winner giving the Whites a 3-2 victory.

The White Blades didn't let up again this week winning the game 9-5. There has been lots of scoring in this division for 3 games now. This week it was Samuel G who led the way with a hat trick and added 2 assists. Jesse V and David O added 2 of their own with Matthew putting one in as well. Purple Blades put up a better fight then last week. Ryan V put in 2 and Simeon W and Chuckie J both added one as well.
Corey B covered the net for the Black Sabres this week leading them to a 5-3 win. Tim V was unstoppable putting 4 past the White Sabres but was helped out by Katie B's nice play at the point to hold the zone for his fourth goal. Brandon W also added one of his own. White Sabres were able to respond with goals from Michael G, Joshua K and Noah W but it just wasn't enough this week.
The Blue Daggers came out the winners after the dust settled from a good back and forth game with the White Daggers this week. Strong goaltending from Breydon W and a hat trick from Aiden T turned out to be just what the Blues needed. Colten M scored 2 goals for the Whites and Clay K netted one. Keira W and Eddie Z also scored for the Blues aiding in the victory.

After getting blown out last week, it was the White Blades turn to take it to the Purple Blades winning 12-2. David V led the way with a 5 point game, along with strong support from the new comer Jesse V as well as Samuel G both adding 4 points. Simeon W and Ryan V scored for the White Blades.
With the White Sabres team short players, Black Sabres were forced to lend some players which turned out to be the difference. Tim V and Noah W scored twice for the White Sabres leading the way to a 6-1 victory over the Black Sabres. Jonah V was able to net one for the Black Sabres.
The White Daggers took another one away from the Blue Daggers this week with a 5-3 win. White Daggers were led by 2 gals from both Jacob K and Clay K and Aiden M added one of his own. Kyle C found the back of the net with his first goal of his short career for the Blue Daggers as well Eddy Z put in 2 of his own.
